Hi, I’m Katy

I’m a former NFL wife, mother of 6, writer for Proverbs 31 Ministries and president of She Laughs Ministries. I’m also Mom to 2 Weimaraner puppies – who are sisters and the way they fight with each other proves it.

In our 14-year NFL career we moved at least a dozen times covering 6 teams and 5 states.

Our journey hasn’t always gone as we imagined it, but along the way we’ve learned that even when God’s path seems to sideline our plans, it never sidelines our purpose. During his playing years, Luke wrote the same verse on his wrist tape before every game: “In his heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps.” Proverbs 16:9 (NIV)

My mission is to help women walk the firmly established steps the Lord determines, even if everything else feels shaky. I pray the time we spend together will encourage you to see the value of the place God has put you right now, and equip you to live each day on purpose for God’s purposes.

The everyday me loves a strong cup of coffee … or two (usually two), and my car is never clean. Never ever.
