Do You Know Your God-Assignments? (And a Special Invitation!)

I watched them from my seat.

One by one they climbed the steps and walked to the center of the stage. One by one they brought unique messages in their own special ways. But it wasn’t really their words that struck me. It was their passion.

Luke and I attended this conference annually. We treasured the time spent with each other and with friends. Each year we arrived with anticipation that God would move us and shape us. The speaker line-up always donned anointed names and this year was no different.

But this year the stinging in my heart came not from what each mouth uttered, but from the heart that breathed it.

It became crystal clear these men and women stood in the shoes of their God-given assignments. They exuded confidence, decisiveness, boldness and passion. And I longed to be that sure.

So sure of Who I walk with, I don’t keep turning around wondering if I took a wrong turn.

So sure of where He takes me, I don’t cringe every time we hit a bump in the road.

So sure of why we’re going, I press on no matter how long it takes.

Do you want to be that sure?

In Proverbs 31, we meet a woman:

She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future.” Proverbs 31:25

She seems to boast this same crazy confidence that I witnessed at the conference. But how? How can this woman be so sure of herself? And her future?

This woman is the springboard for the passion of my heart, friends, and I want to share it with you. That’s why we recently launched the She Laughs women’s conference.
